2018 SDGA Best Ball Championship
Host:  Radisson Greens Golf Club, Timber Banks Golf Club

Dates: May 11-12, 2018 

Entry Fee: $210 Per Team

Deadline: Monday, May 7th at 5:00pm

 

 

Eligibility

Entry is limited to teams consisting of two male amateur golfers who (1) have full playing privileges at an SDGA Member Club or (2) are 2018 SDGA Associate Members ($100 membership fee). For a complete list of SDGA member clubs and the 2018 SDGA Associate Membership application, please visit syracusegolf.org/membership.

 

Entry Deadline

All entries must be received by the SDGA by 5:00pm on Monday, May 7, 2018. Entries will not be accepted if they are late, incomplete, faxed, emailed, or submitted without full payment.

 

Rules

The USGA's Rules of Golf and any Local Rules/Conditions of Competition adopted by the SDGA will govern play.

 

Format

This event is a 36 hole two player best ball (known as four-ball under the Rules of Golf) stroke play tournament. Play will be from the blue tees at approximately 6,600 yards.  There are no flights.

 

Prizes

Based on a full field, prizes will be distributed as outlined below. Prizes will be split among the Radisson and Timber Banks pro shops.

• Round 1: Top-5 teams earn prize cards.
• Round 2: Top-5 five teams earn prize cards.
• Overall: Top-8 teams earn prize cards.

Food & Beverage

A complimentary lunch is provided after the Saturday's round at Timber Banks.

 

Golf Carts and Range Balls

Payment for use of golf carts and range balls, at both Radisson and Timber Banks, is included in the entry fee.
