2018 SDGA Father & Child

Team Composition and Eligibility

The SDGA Father & Child is open to the teams comprised of two amateur golfers with the following relationship: father/son, father/daughter, grandfather/grandson grandfather/granddaughter.

 

Entry is limited to teams consisting of at least one golfers who (1) has full playing privileges at an SDGA Member Club or (2) is a 2018 SDGA Associate Members ($100 membership fee). A father can register to play with more than one child. The fee for each additional child is $55.

Entry Deadline

All entries must be received by the SDGA by 5:00pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Entries will not be accepted if they are late, incomplete, faxed, emailed, or sent without full payment.

 

Format

The SDGA Father & Child Tournament is played as a two-person scramble. There are two divisions, which a team must select: Scratch or Callaway Handicap.

 

Rules

The USGA's Rules of Golf (except where modified for the scramble format) and any Local Rules/Conditions of Competition adopted by the SDGA will govern play.

Meals Included

A lunch, which is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m., is included with this tournament's entry fee.

 

Golf Carts

Golf carts are available for an additional $15 per player (not included in the entry fee).
