Eligibility

Entry is limited to teams of four (4) male amateur golfers who have playing privileges at the same SDGA Member Club.

All entries must be delivered to the SDGA office by 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 26. Entry forms will not be accepted if they are late, incomplete, faxed,

emailed, or sent without full payment.

Rules

The USGA's "Rules of Golf" and any Local Rules/Conditions of Competition adopted by the SDGA will govern play.

 

Format

This championship's format is 18 holes of individual stroke play. Three out of the four scores are counted towards the team score.  The team with the lowest combined score will be declared the champion. Ties will be broken by including the fourth score. If a tie still exists, the lowest scores will be used, then the 2nd lowest scores, and then the 3rd lowest scores. If a tie still exists, teams will be declared co-champions. If there is a tie for medalist, USGA tie breaker will be used.
 

Field Size

One team of four players may be fielded by each SDGA member club.

SDGA Awards Dinner

The SDGA Annual Awards Dinner will immediately follow the conclusion of play. All players in attendance are invited to join (fee included in entry). Golf attire is requested. The club's halfway house will be open throughout the event (cash only).

 

Golf Carts

The use of golf carts is included in the entry for this event.

 

Range

Provided compliments of Bellevue.

 

Prizes

Top-5 teams will earn prize cards (based on 20 teams). Medalist will also earn a prize card.
